TPR6 24KV

TPS Switchgear Air-Insulated.

Features

TPS is a complete MV switchgear range suitable for all the switching operations from 7.2kV to 24kV in the secondary distribution network.

Operating safely in a distribution network requires different switching points to obtain maximum service continuity in case of fault on the network. TPS can be used in various applications in the secondary distribution network.

Construction Characteristics

The switchboard is made of a metal structure composed of galvanized steel sheets that are assembled using rivets and bolts. This structure is built to withstand the electrodynamic stresses during the operation. A switch and earthing switch are fixed to this structure. A switch envelope made of epoxy resin makes the isolation possible between the structure and live parts. An operating mechanism, a mechanical position indicator and a voltage indicator are positioned in the front of the unit. The position of the switch is given by the mechanical indicator whereas the voltage signalling lamp indicates the presence of voltage. Visibility of main contacts can be checked through an inspection window positioned above the operating mechanism. In the front of the unit, there is a door giving access to different compartments, e.g. cables, fuses and measurement. When the unit is equipped with a low voltage auxiliary compartment it is situated in its upper part.

Features

Rated current of the RMU is guaranteed with no derating up to 55°C ambient temperature.

The protection against severe weather conditions, rain, humidity and dust is guaranteed by TPR6 robust design. The protection degree of the switchgear is IP54.

The enclosure is fitted with a front door and padlock. The gas piston facilitates the opening operation and maintains the door lifted in order to allow the normal operations or maintenance.

Outec TPR6

TPR6 HP Plus

Features

TPR6 Plus is a maintenance-free, factory-assembled and type-tested medium-voltage switchgear. It is three-pole metal-enclosed and SF6-insulated. Vacuum circuit-breaker, switch-disconnector and disconnector modules are available. The core of the switchgear consists of hermetically welded containers made of corrosion-resistant stainless steel, accommodating the primary devices (circuit-breaker and three-position switch). The switchgear is sealed for life. The switchgear modules are interconnected by solid-insulated busbars outside the gas compartments.

Construction Characteristics

TPR6 is a completely “sealed for life” system with a stainless steel tank containing all live parts and switching devices. The structure can withstand the electrodynamics stresses during the operation. The operating mechanism, movable mimic and voltage signalling lamps are positioned in the front panel. Switches are operated by means of spring-operated mechanisms. Movable mimic gives the position of the switch whereas the voltage signalling lamp indicates the voltages. Fuses and cable compartment are easily accessible through the front door which is interlocked with the earth switch. If present, the low voltage auxiliary compartment is situated above the ring main unit.

Outec PLS

PLS Pole Mounted SF6 Switch Disconnector

Features

PLS is an SF6-insulated pole mounted switch disconnector designed for overhead line installations up to 40.5kV 630A/1250A. This outdoor switch disconnector is suitable for both remote control and manual operation with excellent load breaking and fault making capacity. The tank fulfils the requirement of “sealed pressure system” meaning that there is no need to add gas during its expected lifetime.

Construction Characteristics

The stainless steel tank is particularly suitable for providing protection against the extremes of heat, snow, corrosion, moisture and salt in the most demanding climatic conditions.PLS is easy to install due to its reduced dimensions and weight and it is almost maintenance-free.

Tail-End Spend Management

A sometimes-unnoticed cost contributor, “The Tail End” is made up of numerous low-value stock keeping units (SKUs) that generate a significant level of transactional volume. Each transaction entails an unquantifiable cost. These costs include:

  • Time – Excessive transactions divert important time away from critical supply chain opportunities and challenges.
  • Documentation – Multiple pieces of paper are generated for each transaction across the supply chain; these administrative costs are incorporated into the supply chain in some way or another.
  • Errors – Increased transaction volume results in increased possibility for error and increased data to monitor and manage, increasing the likelihood of supply chain errors that result in additional costs or delays.

Our Tail-End solution allows our clients to focus on what matters most while we manage small value purchases, lowering total supply chain expenses. Our tail end management service is intended to do the following:

  • Reduce total transaction volume and time
  • Relive procurement organisation of large volumes
  • Increased capacity of client resources
  • Reduced total supply chain cost

Afrilog homogenises this procedure by leveraging pre-existing and established vendor agreements.

Our consignment / Vendor Inventory Management (VMI) services and warehouse management provide for:

  • Rapid deployment of inventory on-site transparent agreements with clear business rules
  • Shorter lead times
  • Less working capital

Solutions to streamline your inventories

Local procurement, consignment, VMI, and materials requirement planning play a major role in:

  • Simplified inventory management
  • Reduced risk of overselling
  • Cost-savings
  • Avoidance of stock-outs and excess stock
  • Improved business negotiations
  • Better product visibility in the event of a recall
  • Security of supply

Vendor Management

Managing a diverse set of vendors in today’s global supply chain while adhering to all regulatory and performance benchmarks is getting increasingly complicated. With an established network of vendors, we can assure our clients that vendors have been vetted and evaluated continuously through effective performance monitoring. This enables our clients to focus on cost reduction, service quality, and risk mitigation to extract additional value from vendors across the contract life cycle to:

  • Reduced administration
  • Improve the quality of your service
  • Reduce your costs and Leadtime
